Include the following in your notice:

  • Electronic signature (for electronic message -- original signature for message via postal mail required) of the owner of the copyright or an individual who is authorized to act on their behalf;
  • Specific identification and/or other details of the copyright that you claim has been infringed;
  • A web address (URL) for the page or blog post containing content that you claim is infringing upon your copyright. Provide enough detail with your complaint to identify the exact quote and/or image or other content that you claim to be infringement
  • Contact information including your name, mailing address, telephone number(s) and email address; and
  • Your statement: (a) that in good faith you believe that the use of the content you claim is infringing on your copyright is not authorized by law or by the owner of the copyright or the agent of the owner; and (b) under penalty of perjury, all of the information contained in your Infringement Notice is complete and accurate, and that you either are the owner of the copyright or a the owner of the copyright has authorized you to act on their behalf.

If a DMCA notice is valid, Eclix Corporation is required by law to respond by making the content that is allegedly infringing unavailable.
